Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing Mantle, or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use Mantle for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Mantle provides connected workflows for supported Manager Cloud and Manager Server deployments, including accounting data retrieval, verified record preparation, AI-assisted analysis, OCR, inventory and point-of-sale tools, integrations, and workspace collaboration. Mantle does not support Manager Desktop unless we expressly state otherwise.

Mantle is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Manager.io.

You must provide accurate registration information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. Workspace owners control connections and may invite registered subusers with selected permissions. Owners are responsible for those permissions and for activity performed through their workspaces.

You may not share an account in a way that bypasses access controls. You remain responsible for activity conducted through your account unless caused by a security failure within Mantle.

You authorize Mantle to use the credentials and connection information you provide solely to perform requested operations against the selected business. You represent that you are permitted to access and modify that business.

Drafts, matches, and proposed accounting actions must be reviewed before confirmation. When you confirm a write operation or enable an explicitly described automation, you instruct Mantle to submit that operation. You are responsible for verifying accounting treatment, tax treatment, dates, amounts, counterparties, inventory items, and other business records.

AI and OCR output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or based on ambiguous source material. Confidence indicators, Manager record matching, reconciliation checks, and confirmation controls reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. Mantle is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.

You must review material output before relying on it or posting it to Manager. Do not submit content that you are not permitted to process. You retain responsibility for decisions and records created from generated output.

Some operations consume credits or require a paid plan. Prices, included usage, renewal periods, and applicable taxes are shown at purchase. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, completed usage and consumed credits are non-refundable. Failed metered operations should not be charged when Mantle identifies the failure before completion.

We may change future pricing with reasonable notice. Changes do not retroactively alter credits already purchased, though credits may be subject to any expiry terms disclosed at purchase.

You may not use Mantle to break the law, violate another person’s rights, access data without authorization, distribute malware, bypass usage or security controls, interfere with the service, probe systems without permission, or generate deceptive or fraudulent accounting records. You may not resell or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

You retain ownership of content and business data you submit. You grant Mantle the limited rights necessary to host, transmit, process, secure, and display that data to provide and improve the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process personal or confidential information through Mantle.

If you provide feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission. Our handling of personal information is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Mantle can connect to Manager.io and other providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue their APIs. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or changes outside Mantle’s control.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages, network failures, or legal requirements may affect access. We may modify features where necessary, while seeking to avoid materially reducing paid functionality without notice.

You may stop using Mantle at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, security risk, non-payment, unlawful conduct, or conduct that threatens other users or the service. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and liability limitations—will survive.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mantle is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mantle and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Mantle during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and reviewing records before acting on them.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to Mantle, law, or security requirements. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
